About Edward P Darrah
Ed Darrah is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and is a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. In addition, he is a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer for the Red Cross.
Ed is from Metuchen New Jersey, where he attended Metuchen High School. During his time there, he was a three sport athlete in baseball, basketball, and cross-country. Throughout high school, college, and graduate school Ed worked at Metuchen Golf and Country club as a caddy. During that time, he became very interested in psychology specifically sport psychology.
Following high school graduation, Ed attended Neumann University in Aston, PA. During his time at Neumann Ed played division three baseball. In addition, he worked in the athletic department as public address announcer for his work study job. In May of 2009, Ed graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During that summer he participated in an internship that focused on sport performance within in a private practice in Bethlehem, PA.
Subsequently Ed attended LaSalle University for his masters, during this time he served as the President of the Master's Program Student Association. He completed his practicum at Amtrak within their Employees Assistant Program. Following his practicum, he worked at Northeastern Health Services (NHS) during his year long internship, that consisted of long-term counseling for individuals and families of Delaware County. In addition to his internship, Ed worked as an assistant baseball coach at Arcadia University for two seasons. In May of 2012, Ed graduated from LaSalle University with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling- Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Consulting.
Currently Ed has a private practice in Wynnewood PA., where conducts both counseling and sport performance consulting.
Ed lives in Philadelphia, PA. During this spare time, he enjoys playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
